The dark and the light, translated to the 1 and 0 is S.O.T.A.G.R binary view and vision of the Black Electronics. The divine and the universe as a glitch, the abstract imperfections that manifests itself as the beauty of darkness. The immense universe, the beauty and fear of infinity and mortality. And their philosophy of a possible Fractal Consciousness: immortality, rebirth and reincarnation. S.O.T.A.G.R transmit their ‘binary’ vision of Future Occultism in extreme bursts of musical composition, incorporating the extremes from the digital world of electronic music and the rawness and brutality of Black Metal, using spacious Ambient and Soundscape composition to set the sonic contrast to their creative vision.

S.O.T.A.G.R is a 2 piece Black Electronics outfit consisting out of Jason Kohnen and Jurgen Desmet. Both with a past from the electronic Breakcore scene, respectively as Bong-Ra and Sickboy. Their self titled debut album was released in 2007 on the Canadian Sunlight Records. The album and band had a cult following and went into a slumber for a small decade, to re-emerge as a new form embracing a new fusion of Black Metal and Electronics.
